Follow these step-by-step instructions to log in to your Microsoft 365 work account and activate your OneDrive service.

*If you set up your Microsoft 365 account in STEP 2 - PBSA Google Account, skip to the Microsoft OneDrive activation instructions below.
Access Microsoft 365 Work Account
Prerequisites
Ensure you have access to a second device (e.g., smartphone) for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Know the temporary password provided: Purpose12345.
Steps:
1. Open Google Chrome:
Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
2. Navigate to the Login Page:
In the address bar, type login.microsoftonline.com and press Enter.
3. Enter Your Email Address:
On the Microsoft login page, enter your work email address (e.g., yourname@pbsatl.org).
Click Next.
4. Enter the Temporary Password:
Enter the temporary password: Purpose12345.
Click Sign in.
5. Change Your Password:
You will be prompted to change your password.
Enter the temporary password Purpose12345 in the Current password field.
Create a new password and enter it in both the New password and Confirm password fields.
Click Sign in.
6. Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
Follow the prompts to set up MFA.
You may be asked to use the Microsoft Authenticator app or receive a code via text message.
For Microsoft Authenticator App:
Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) if you don't have it already.
Open the app and add an account.
Scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen using the Authenticator app.
Follow the instructions to complete the setup.
For Text Message or Phone Call:
Choose Text message or Phone call as your preferred method.
Enter your phone number.
Enter the code sent to your phone into the browser.
7. Verify Your Identity:
After setting up MFA, verify your identity by entering the code received on your phone or approving the sign-in request on the Authenticator app.
8. Complete the Setup:
Once MFA is successfully set up and verified, you will be logged into your Microsoft 365 account.
9. Additional Information:
You might be prompted to provide more information or set additional security options, such as setting up security questions or adding another authentication method.
10. Explore Your Account:
After completing the setup, you can start using your Microsoft 365 work account.
Explore the different applications and features available to you.
Microsoft OneDrive Activation
1. Access the App Launcher:
Once you are logged in, locate the app launcher (also known as the waffle icon) in the upper-left corner of the Microsoft 365 interface. This icon looks like a grid of small squares.
2. Select OneDrive:
Click on the waffle icon to open the app launcher.
From the list of available applications, select OneDrive.
3. Activate OneDrive:
Clicking on OneDrive will initiate the activation process.
Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the activation. This may involve setting up folders or adjusting initial settings.
Congratulations! You have successfully logged in to your PBSA Microsoft 365 account and activated your OneDrive service.
